Responsibilities
- Takes charge of deposit and payout operations across multiple currencies worldwide, covering client-money safeguards, liquidity, and day-to-day settlement.
- Directs cross-border payouts and exception handling across banking channels such as SWIFT and SEPA.
- Manages client fund segregation in line with HK SFC client money rules and trust frameworks.
- Serves as the key contact for clearing banks, payment service providers, and regulators.
- Works with product and technology teams to design automated reconciliation and banking API integrations.
What you need
- 8+ years of operations experience at a payment service provider, remittance company, or payment institution.
- Experience managing client segregated accounts and trust structures.
- Deep understanding of domestic and international payment systems and bank clearing.
- Speaks English and Mandarin at a business level, and is based in Hong Kong or open to relocating there.
Good to have
- Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, or CFA and a finance degree are a plus.
