Responsibilities
- Leads or joins design and build work covering storage, data protection, migration, replication, clustering, virtualization, and DR/BCP.
- Carries projects through from HLD/LLD to install, upgrade, expansion, integration, test environments, and handover, as an individual contributor or technical lead.
- Advises sales teams and customers on technical strategy and how to fit the solution into existing environments.
- Reviews partner delivery proposals to confirm quality, risk, and value.
- Designs and builds practical automation using scripts, REST APIs, infrastructure as code, or ITSM integrations.
- Prepares technical proposals and contributes to RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, and customer facing presentations.
What you need
- Has 5+ years delivering projects including HLD/LLD, with 3+ years as a project manager or technical lead.
- Has 5+ years of hands on enterprise infrastructure work such as install, upgrade, expansion, migration, or integration.
- Has 5+ years as a subject matter expert or architect, including 2+ years in a team lead type role.
- Understands enterprise storage protocols and has worked with virtualization, operating systems, networking, and data center migration.
- Has experience with data protection, replication, DR/BCP, and security work.
- Reads and writes business level English.
Good to have
- Understands cloud native technologies such as containers, Kubernetes, and CI/CD beyond the basics.
- Has interest in or exposure to cloud native data services like Portworx.
- Has written automation scripts in Python, PowerShell, or Perl.
- Has worked with AWS or Microsoft Azure.
- Has hands on exposure to FlashArray, FlashBlade, or Pure Storage products.
