Responsibilities
- Lead deal risk assessment for large delivery projects as Japan's link to the global deal strategy team.
- Advise on contract structuring for complex, hard-to-negotiate deals, including the impact on revenue recognition.
- Review investment deals that include free services for compliance with internal rules before they proceed.
- Coordinate security and personal data protection checks with sales and project teams on individual deals.
- Drive the department's privacy mark maintenance and business continuity planning work.
- Mentor junior team members on how to assess deal risk.
What you need
- Explain contract and project structures logically and hold a strong sense of fairness.
- Have hands-on experience reviewing proposals or contracts, including revenue recognition.
- Have 6+ years of experience in professional services or consulting.
- Have 3+ years of experience in deal structuring.
- Have experience assessing risk on large delivery projects.
- Speak Japanese and English at a business level for global coordination.
Good to have
- Hold a PMP certification.
- Have practical knowledge of information security or personal data protection.
- Understand the basics of revenue recognition under ASC606.
- Be motivated to improve work using AI tools.
- Have Salesforce product knowledge or certifications.
