Responsibilities
- Travel to customer sites worldwide to help integrate and deploy the Hivemind software in the field.
- Serve as a Hivemind product expert who provides technical support and training to customers.
- Build AI and autonomy applications using Shield AI's developer toolkit.
- Support pre sales activities such as demos and conferences, and help with post sales deployment work.
- Produce technical documentation and training materials, and help customers work through software and API integration issues.
- Act as a technical lead who keeps complex, cross team projects moving to a successful finish.
What you need
- A bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science plus seven or more years of experience, or a master's degree plus five or more years.
- A strong technical foundation in software engineering.
- Strong skill writing modern C++ code.
- Strong problem solving and communication skills.
Good to have
- Experience in the defense, aviation, or robotics industry.
- Prior work as a customer facing solutions engineer or sales engineer.
- Experience working in a fast moving, startup like environment.
- An advanced degree in robotics or a related autonomy field.
