Responsibilities
- Serves as the go-to technical expert for APJ customers, helping their technical teams understand what Snowflake's AI and ML capabilities can do and why they matter.
- Works with account teams to scope and drive POCs to success, including executive readouts and business value cases.
- Works with product and engineering teams to shape the AI and ML roadmap based on customer feedback.
- Creates blog posts, talks, notebooks, and demos so the work scales beyond one person.
- Builds and maintains sales engineering assets for AI and ML, including presentations, demos, and customer stories.
- Works with account teams across APJ to help customers adopt AI and ML use cases.
What you need
- Has 10+ years building and deploying machine learning, including 3+ years building generative AI solutions in the cloud.
- Has hands-on experience with MLOps, feature stores, model deployment, explainability, and observability.
- Knows how to apply generative AI techniques such as RAG, few-shot learning, prompt engineering, and fine-tuning.
- Has deep knowledge of Python and ML tools such as LangChain, pandas, scikit-learn, and PyTorch, plus data engineering tools like dbt, Airflow, and Spark.
- Presents well to both technical and executive audiences.
- Holds a bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or mathematics.
Good to have
- Has worked with open-source LLM ecosystem tools such as LangChain or LlamaIndex.
- Has experience with large cloud infrastructure such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Has 1+ years of hands-on Snowflake experience.
- Knows large-scale database technology such as Snowflake, Netezza, Exadata, Teradata, or Greenplum.
- Has worked in a quota-carrying sales role before.
