Responsibilities
- Acts as the key technical resource supporting practice managers and directors through the services sales cycle.
- Leads discovery sessions, solution design workshops, architecture reviews, and PoCs to help close deals faster.
- Designs deliverable end to end architecture built on Snowflake platform capabilities.
- Produces technical scoping artifacts, architecture, effort estimates, resource plans, and risk assessments that feed directly into the SOW.
- Builds trusted advisor relationships with customer technical leaders such as directors, VPs, CTOs, and CDOs.
- Contributes to reusable solution patterns, reference architectures, sales materials, and enablement content.
What you need
- Has 5+ years in customer facing roles across pre sales or post sales consulting, solution architecture, or technical advisory.
- Has a track record designing and pitching enterprise scale data platform solutions to both technical and executive audiences.
- Works hands on with SQL and Python for data analytics, data engineering, or AI/ML development.
- Has deep understanding of at least one major cloud platform among AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Holds a degree in computer science, engineering, data science, math, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Speaks native level Japanese and business level English.
Good to have
- Has consulting or implementation experience with Snowflake or a comparable cloud data platform.
- Holds Snowflake SnowPro Core and Advanced certifications.
- Has industry expertise in areas like financial services, healthcare, retail, media, or manufacturing.
- Understands the AI/ML lifecycle, including model development, deployment, and MLOps.
- Has experience modernizing legacy platforms such as Teradata, Hadoop, or Netezza.
