Responsibilities
- Own the customer-integration module end to end under a Squad Lead and deliver production-ready software.
- Develop Linux C/C++ modules for customer hardware and architecture and perform integration and functional verification.
- Write Python automation and regression tests; development and verification may split up to 50:50 according to squad needs.
- Treat documentation as code: maintain integration guides/specifications and review code for testability and safety.
- Resolve CI/CD build and test failures as if they were errors in your own code, and troubleshoot integration defects on customer benches.
- Support on-site partner test events in Korea and abroad, working with customer engineers and QA.
- Use AI tools such as GitHub Copilot and Claude in engineering, analysis and documentation.
What you need
- 10+ years of embedded software development or engineering experience.
- Strong embedded C/C++, including pointers, memory management and data structures.
- Linux debugging and Python test-automation capability are required.
- Be willing to own verification as well as development and assess whether changes are safe for users.
- Move between implementation and verification as the squad needs and solve customer integration problems on site.
Good to have
- Experience with ISO 26262, ASPICE, ASIL and automotive safety/quality processes is preferred.
- Coding standards such as MISRA, static analysis and Agile squad/Jira/Confluence experience are preferred.
- Git workflows and Pytest/GoogleTest experience, and a deep understanding of vehicle networks such as Ethernet, CAN and SOME/IP, are preferred.
