Responsibilities
- Embed directly with enterprise customers to learn their communications and AI workflows, then design and build the systems that go into production.
- Build and ship custom implementations such as AI voice assistants, API integrations, and real-time communication features.
- Deploy open-weight or self-hosted language models in customer environments and manage them through a single gateway.
- Set up metrics, logging, and alerting on everything you build so the team always knows its health.
- Lead the work from proof-of-concept through to a stable production launch and dig into root causes when things break.
- Feed field learnings back to product and engineering teams so they shape future releases.
What you need
- Have a computer science degree or equivalent experience.
- Have 3+ years of experience shipping production software and handling on-call incidents.
- Write production code in several of Python, Node.js/TypeScript, or Go.
- Communicate fluently in English and Cantonese or Mandarin.
- Be based in Hong Kong or willing to relocate, with the right to work there.
Good to have
- Experience with AI voice assistants or speech recognition and synthesis (STT/TTS) is a plus.
