Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical owner for a set of key accounts, keeping an updated picture of current and target architecture
- Find expansion opportunities such as new workloads or vector store use cases, and lead technical discovery, design, demos, and benchmarks
- Turn customer use cases into real architectures and proofs of concept to drive adoption
- Team up with account managers so technical recommendations turn into real deals and revenue growth
- Bring customer feedback and competitive insight back to product and engineering teams
- Serve as the technical lead in a pod that also covers presales, sales, and customer success
What you need
- Has eight or more years doing hands-on technical work with customers, such as presales, solution design, or delivery, in enterprise data platforms and cloud analytics settings
- Has a track record of managing and growing enterprise accounts
- Has hands on experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Knows enterprise data warehouse architecture well, including columnar storage, parallel processing, SQL, and query tuning
Good to have
- Understands retrieval augmented generation, embeddings, and vector stores in practice
- Comfortable running customer sessions hands on with SQL and Python
- Has industry knowledge in finance, retail, public sector, or manufacturing
