Responsibilities
- Inspect, diagnose and repair vehicles using diagnostic equipment and hand and power tools.
- Provide feedback to improve vehicle quality and service and record and report maintenance and repair data.
- Order parts and supplies and help maintain clean vehicles and service facilities.
- Prioritize tasks, meet deadlines and support other work as business needs require.
- Explain repairs and vehicle condition directly to customers and promptly resolve concerns.
What you need
- At least two years of automotive technical experience and a driver's license are required.
- Broad knowledge of vehicle maintenance technologies, parts and equipment, including HVAC, hydraulics, brakes and electronic systems, is required.
- Learn new service technologies and processes, solve complex problems and work collaboratively with safety as a priority.
- Basic browser, Excel and Word skills and flexibility in working hours and location are required.
Good to have
- Technical high-school education and an associate degree in automotive technology are preferred.
- An automotive maintenance industrial engineer certificate or equivalent related qualification is preferred.
- Customer communication and problem-solving experience is preferred.
