Responsibilities
- Design and optimize signal and power integrity for SoC packages, PCBs and systems.
- Design high-speed packaging, connectors, sockets and cables with teams and suppliers.
- Optimize interfaces and power-integrity layout with silicon, package and PCB teams.
- Bring up and characterize power networks with power-design teams and suppliers.
- Validate system and component SI/PI through channel, SerDes, DDR shmoo, noise and droop tests.
What you need
- A relevant degree or equivalent experience and product design and validation experience are required.
- System and package SI/PI, EM theory and high-speed serial, memory and power-integrity modeling knowledge are required.
- Instrument proficiency, lab-to-simulation correlation and hands-on analysis, debugging and measurement are required.
Good to have
- Power-circuit design and validation, MATLAB or Python scripting and SerDes/DDR I/O design and validation are a plus.
