Responsibilities
- Lead and coach a regional Safety Response team, keeping performance high and decisions consistent.
- Own regional metrics such as utilization, SLA compliance, backlog, and quality.
- Personally handle the most complex, high-risk cases and act as the region's first escalation point during incidents.
- Take on a share of frontline casework, including investigations, enforcement calls, and legal or regulatory escalations.
- Loop in Legal, Policy, Product, Investigations, and local market colleagues to land safety outcomes.
- Keep improving workflows, tooling, automation, and escalation paths to raise operating efficiency.
What you need
- Has spent 5+ years in fields such as trust and safety, risk operations, investigations, fraud prevention, content annotation, or platform integrity.
- 4+ years leading people or holding senior operational ownership.
- Makes sound calls under ambiguity and high stakes, balancing speed, accuracy, and accountability.
- Able to lead through a 24/7 operation, including night, weekend, and holiday shifts.
- Understands the legal, policy, and technical sides of trust work such as moderating content, protecting users, and handling fraud or developer risk.
Good to have
- Can explain tough safety calls clearly to Legal, Policy, or leadership.
- Can win buy-in across teams without having formal authority over them.
- Uses data, tooling, and automation to sharpen decisions and efficiency.
