Responsibilities
- Acts as the single point of contact for customer service activities, owns support end to end, and uses tools to help customers manage more on their own.
- Leads regular operational and business reviews with customer leadership, using data to cut risk and keep systems highly available.
- Steps up during technical escalations, pulling together APJ and global teams to drive fast resolution.
- Works with sales to align service delivery with customer business goals and to create renewal and expansion opportunities.
- Feeds field insights back into the organization to improve processes and the service delivery model.
- Manages maintenance contracts and billing status, and builds long-term trust through regular customer visits, including on-site data center support when needed.
What you need
- Has worked directly with enterprise storage systems (FlashArray, FlashBlade, or similar) and run container platforms like Kubernetes.
- Has automated operations through scripting or ITSM integration and knows cloud native technology.
- Has managed mid to long term relationships with the same client accounts and led projects.
- Has strong skills in facilitation, negotiation, and handling conflict, and has swayed stakeholders inside a matrixed organization.
- Is native level in Japanese and business level in English.
- Brings 3+ years running enterprise infrastructure operations, whether at a vendor, SI, or in-house team.

- Wants to understand the why before jumping in is a plus.
- Stays consistent and reliable without close supervision is a plus.
- Comfortable reasoning things through from different angles is a plus.
