Responsibilities
- Works with recruiters and hiring leaders to define target profiles and build data driven sourcing strategies.
- Maps the talent landscape by company, skill set and geography to uncover hidden talent pools and competitor trends.
- Uses Boolean search, sourcing platforms and communities to find and reach out to strong technical candidates.
- Builds long term relationships with passive candidates and cleared or highly specialized engineers so they are ready to hire when needed.
- Designs and improves AI powered sourcing workflows and automations that boost recruiter productivity.
- Acts as the sourcing expert, coaching recruiters and hiring managers on market trends and candidate outreach.
What you need
- Has 5+ years of sourcing experience, ideally in aerospace, defense or other complex hardware and software fields.
- Has a track record of market mapping, competitive research and candidate generation for specialized roles.
- Is skilled with Boolean search and tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, HireEZ, SeekOut, ClearanceJobs and GitHub.
- Can advise recruiters and hiring leaders using market insight and talent data.
- Has hands on experience building or using AI powered sourcing workflows or automation.
- Has experience building long term relationships with cleared or niche engineering talent.
Good to have
- Experience supporting aerospace, robotics, AI or advanced vehicle engineering teams is a plus.
- Experience with export control or security cleared recruiting environments is a plus.
- Familiarity with Ashby or recruiting analytics and CRM tools is a plus.
- Experience supporting high growth, venture backed companies is a plus.
- Keeps up with new recruiting technology and sourcing methods.
