Responsibilities
- Owns and drives the full sales cycle for Hivemind opportunities across assigned accounts and territories.
- Builds and runs territory strategies for the highest priority pursuits.
- Finds and shapes new business opportunities by understanding customer missions, budgets, and procurement paths.
- Builds and maintains relationships with decision makers and program offices.
- Leads proposal work together with BD operations and other teams.
- Keeps internal leadership clearly informed on pipeline status and risk.
What you need
- Has 10 to 15 or more years in sales or business development in technically complex fields such as AI, autonomy, SaaS, aerospace, or defense.
- Has closed deals in the Japanese government or defense market.
- Deeply understands defense acquisition processes and government procurement.
- Has strong experience building and running capture strategies.
- Holds a bachelor's degree.
- Speaks English and Japanese fluently.
Good to have
- Has sold autonomy, AI, or unmanned systems solutions before.
- Has military service experience.
- Already has relationships across defense, government, or aerospace.
- Has worked with large systems integrators or strategic partners.
- Holds or is eligible for a security clearance.
